Clear Java Cache

Users may get an error if an old Java code signing certificate was cached.  To clear Java cache:

Windows 7 or Windows 10: 

  1. Click Start 
  2. Navigate to the Control Panel
  3. Click Programs.
  4. Click Java.
  5. Under the General tab, locate the "Temporary Internet Files" heading and click Settings
  6. Click Delete Files.
  7. Check all boxes and Click OK.
  8. Click OK on Temporary Files Settings window.
  9. Click OK on Java Control Panel window. 

Mac OS X: 

  1. Click your Mac Hard Drive icon. 
  2. Click Applications.
  3. Click Utilities
  4. Click Java Preferences.
  5. Click the Network tab.
  6. Click the Delete Files button. 
  7. You are prompted to delete your temporary files for Java. Make sure all boxes are selected with checkmarks. Click OK.
  8. Close the Java Preferences window.
