myGate Redirect Issue - Error Resolution (update 7/8/19)

On Sunday, July 7, 2019, Information Systems implemented a patch provided by the vendor to fix the “too many redirects” error. Users will need to clear cookies and cache just once per browser.

If you continues to experience the “too many redirects” error after Sunday and after clearing your cookies and cache, please contact the Service Desk at 270-809-2346, or submit a ticket (please use the subject “myGate Redirect Error”).

It is recommended that users always log out of myGate by using the “Sign Out” button located in the top right corner of myGate, rather than just closing the browser. If you are using your myGate credentials to access other services like Canvas, please use that service’s log out option before closing your browser.

Error History

On Monday, June 10, 2019, users began experiencing intermittent issues when trying to log into myGate. On Friday, June 14, 2019, a temporary fix was implemented to address the issue until an official update was provided by the vendor.
