This article describes several ways you can access your RacerMail on your Blackberry device.
Method 1: Using the Mobile Interface
To use RacerMail's mobile web interface, simply navigate to http://racermail.murraystate.edu using your Blackberry's browser.
Method 2: Accessing RacerMail using Google's Mobile App for Blackberry
- On your Blackberry's browser, navigate to http://m.google.com/mail.
- Click the Install Now link to download the Google Mail app. If prompted, grant the app "Trusted Application Status."
- On your home screen, run the "Gmail" app. Depending on your device's configuration, this app may be located in the Downloads folder.
- Sign in with your full Murray State email address and password (example: jdoe2@murraystate.edu).
Special Notes:
If you are using a Blackberry device from AT&T, you also have the option to set up your Murray State email through the Blackberry's integrated mail application. You can do this through the Blackberry website by following the instructions below. Please note, the following instructions only apply to AT&T Wireless subscribers.
- On a computer, go to http://www.att.blackberry.com.
- Login to your account. If you don't have an account or don't know your password, you can click the "Create New Account" button or use the "Forgot Password" link.
- Once you are logged in, click the "Set Up Email" button.
- Type your full Murray State email address and RacerMail password in the appropriate fields, then click Next.
- Once your account is set up, click Finish.
You should now be able to access your Murray State email on your Blackberry phone through the Messages application.
