Method 1: Accessing RacerMail email using the iPhone Mail app
- Make sure you have enabled IMAP in your RacerMail settings. To do so, follow the instructions below on a computer:
- Login to your RacerMail account.
- Click on the cog icon in the upper-right hand corner.
- Click Settings.
- Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- Choose Enable IMAP.
- Click Save Changes.
- Tap Settings from your iPhone's Home screen.
- Tap Mail.
- Tap Accounts, then Add Account.
- Tap Google. It will tell you that "Settings would like to access google.com to sign-in". Click Continue.
- Enter your full Murray State email address (jdoe2@murraystate.edu).
- Tap Next.
- It will prompt you with the new, secure Murray State RacerMail login screen. Enter your full Murray State email address again.
- Enter your Password.
- Tap Sign in.
- You will be prompted with 2-Factor Authentication. Authenticate as you normally would (Send Me a Push, Call Me, or Enter a Passcode).
- It will ask if you'd like to stay signed in. Your phone should automatically keep you signed in, but you can tap Yes.
- Tap Save.
Method 2: Using the Gmail App
- Download the Gmail app to your device by searching "Gmail" in the App Store.
- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap Sign In.
- Tap Add Account.
- Select Google. It will tell you that "Gmail would like to access google.com to sign-in". Click Continue.
- Enter your full Murray State email address (jdoe2@murraystate.edu).
- Tap Next.
- It will prompt you with the new, secure Murray State RacerMail login screen. Enter your full Murray State email address again.
- Enter your Password.
- Tap Sign in.
- You will be prompted with 2-Factor Authentication. Authenticate as you normally would (Send Me a Push, Call Me, or Enter a Passcode).
- It will ask if you'd like to stay signed in. Your phone should automatically keep you signed in, but you can tap Yes
- Enter your Password.
- Tap Next.
Method 3: Using the Mobile Interface.
To use RacerMail's mobile web interface, use your device's Safari Browser to navigate to http://racermail.murraystate.edu.
