Murray State University has created a wireless network for its guests to use. The purpose of this network is to allow quick access to the Campus Internet to guests only. This allows only limited access to the Internet; any greater access will require a University Sponsor.
Connecting to MSUguest
Step 1
Connect your wireless device to the “MSUguest” network and open a web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.). Some mobile devices may open this page automatically. To register the device, you will need to enter the following information:
- First and last name
- Phone number
- Email address
Review and accept the Terms of Use and click “Register.”
Step 2
On the Murray State Guest Registration Receipt page, you'll receive a username and password you can use with other devices, if desired. You will also receive an email to the email address provided in your registration. The email’s subject will be “Murray State Guest Account Information.”
Click the “Log In” button at the bottom of the page to proceed. This device is now connected to the MSUguest network.
Using additional devices
If you have additional devices that you want to use on the MSUguest network, you can either register them separately using the process above, or use the username and password from Step 2 above to connect them to the MSUguest network. To use a username and password, after connecting to the MSUguest network and opening a web browser, click the "Sign In" link near the bottom of the page. Enter the username and password, check the box to accept the terms of use, and click the "Log In" button.
