If you need to request an account in the AiM system so you or another individual can submit requests, please use the New Requestor Access for AiM form.
Submitting Requests in AiM
- Log into the AiM system with your Murray State username and password.
- In the Menu list, click on Customer Service.
- Click on the blank paper icon next to Customer Request.
- On the blank customer request screen that appears you have two choices. To look at an existing customer request click on the Search button. To enter a new customer request click on the blue New button.
- A blank customer request form will be displayed. The required fields are highlighted in red.
- Fill out the Description field with as detailed a description of the location and the problem as possible.
- The Status should be OPEN.
- The Contact field is for your name and the Contact Email is for your email address.
- The Account field is for the complete FOPAL information for your department or organization.
- The Subcode field is a pulldown list that displays when you click on the magnifying glass on the right. Pick the item that is closest to what work needs to be done.
- For most requests the Region is MSU and the Facility is 01 for the main campus. Click on the magnifying glass to the right of the property field and select your building from the list.
- Once the form is complete, click on the green Save button to save your request. It will then go into the approval process at Facilities Management to be turned into a Work Order.
- A confirmation email of your submission will go to the email address provided in the form.
