FileZilla is used to upload content to the RacerNet webserver. Users will first need an SFTP account. If you do not have one, use the SFTP Account service request. FileZilla can be downloaded for free for PC and for Mac.
Once installed, use these instructions to setup FileZilla:
NOTE: Steps should be similar for Mac and Windows users.
- Go to File > Site Manager
- Click on New Site
- Host: sftp.murraystate.edu
- Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
- Logon Type: Normal
- User: (This is your Network username)
- Password: (This is your Network password)
- Click Connect
You will see your website(s) on the right-hand side. The left-hand side shows the files on your computer. You can now easily move files between sides by dragging/dropping the files.
