Update Preferred First Name

• Preferred First Name Change Request for Employees - MSU recognizes that employees may wish to use a name other than their legal first name. 

Legal Name Changes

• Legal Name Change Procedures for Employees - Employees should use this form to have their legal name updated with Murray State University.

Username/Email Updates

• Username Change - After having your legal name changed with Murray State University, you may request an update to your MSU username and email address. 
• Change Display (From) Name in RacerMail - RacerMail users can change their display name in the Google interface.

Campus Records Updates (Office Locations and Phone Numbers, Personal Mailing Addresses and Phone Numbers)

• Update Campus Office Location and Phone Number - Employees may request a change to their campus location and office phone number. Please note that email addresses and names will be automatically updated.
• Update Personal Phone Number or Mailing Address in myGate - Faculty, staff, and students can update their personal information in myGate.
