User-Group Canvas Course

Faculty and staff can request to have a course shell for user groups established in Canvas.

  • Submit a service request at Request a Development, Training, or User Group Course in Canvas
  • Once you receive email confirmation of the course creation, you can add content directly into Canvas.  
  • Send a list of participants to be added to the course.  The list must include each participant's MSU email address.

NOTE:  When your list of users is loaded into Canvas, they will receive an email notification of being added to the course, and they must accept that invitation.

Requests for technical support can be submitted from the Canvas General Support request form. Requests for using Canvas tools and features, as well as course design, can be made to the Faculty Development Center at 270-809-5000. The Canvas Help site also has an Instructor Guide to help you get started.
