If you change your Murray State password inside myGate or by using Password Self-Service, you will need to update your password on your mobile device to continue using the MSUemployee, MSUstudent, or ResNetWireless networks.
iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Wi-Fi"
- Tap the network you connect to under the list of networks (MSUemployee or MSUstudent)
- Tap "Forget this Network"
- Tap "Forget"
- Tap "Wi-Fi" to go back one screen
- Tap "MSUemployee" (faculty and staff only) or "MSUstudent" (students only), or ResNetWireless (in the residence halls or College Courts)
- Enter your username and new password
- Tap "Join"
- Tap "Trust" to accept the wireless.murraystate.edu Certificate
Android devices
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Wi-Fi
- Hold and press "MSUemployee" (faculty and staff only) or "MSUstudent" (students only), or ResNetWireless (in the residence halls or College Courts)
- Tap "Modify network"
- Enter in your new password
