Using CampusPrint Printers to Print, Copy, or Scan

These instructions will guide students through releasing a print job, copying, and scanning from the CampusPrint printers. On the right side of this article, a one-page PDF with these instructions has been provided for users to download.

Make a Copy

  1. Swipe your RacerCard or login with your MSU username and password.
  2. Insert your document(s) into the tray, face up.
  3. Tap “Device functions”.
  4. The next screen will display your remaining balance. Tap “OK” or wait a few seconds and you will be automatically directed to the Copier screen. If you have a low balance, you will see the “Scan to My Email” screen.
  5. Enter the desired number of copies on the keypad. You can also select any finishing options, such as color or black/white, single-sided or double-sided copying.
  6. Tap the “Start” button.
  7. Tap the “Log out” button or swipe your RacerCard to log out.

 

Scan to your MSU email address

  1. Swipe your RacerCard, or login with your MSU username and password.
  2. Place your document(s) into the tray, or lift the lid and place the document on the glass.
  3. Confirm or change your options, then tap “Scan”.
  4. The document(s) will be scanned and automatically emailed to your MSU email account.
  5. Tap the “Log out” button or swipe your RacerCard to log out.

 

Print 

After you have successfully submitted your print job, follow these instructions from any CampusPrint printer retrieve your print job.

  1. Swipe your RacerCard, or login with your MSU username and password.
  2. Tap “Print Release”.
  3. All jobs available at this printer will be displayed. Tap your job and tap “Print”, or tap “Print All”.
  4. Collect your document.
  5. Tap the “Log out” button or swipe your RacerCard to log out.
